Lloyd "Coach" Linkous

On May 12, 2025, Hill City Chapter 138 Lynchburg, VA lost our brother Lloyd “coach” Linkous.
Lloyd was a member of the SCRC for 12 years. Lloyd loved riding
his bike, going to Bike Week, tinkering with old cars and country music. He was a very generous man who participated in Chapter events and gave his time selflessly. He loved the toy runs and binging smiles to
a lot of children’s faces. Lloyd would be one of the first to introduce himself to new members and make them feel welcome. He never met a stranger and will be missed by all who knew him. Lloyd loved his family above all. Lloyd leaves behind his wife of 27 years Angela Linkous, his children, his grandchildren and several family members and friends who will miss him tremendously. We shed tears for his loss but also shed tears of laughter and smiles for the good times we shared. He will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace our friend until we see you again.
